Alex Shapiro: No matter, how much you post out “shock hazard” sings, there always will be idiots who ignore them, and who will expose themselves to that very danger and get shocked. By all appearances, this time the fool is a hare in love.
But is hare dead? It’s obvious, that the hare is a drama-lover. Firstly, he is wearing a bow-tie, and secondly, he is imitating his death very theatrically. If any actor saw this picture, he would certainly say “I believe!”
And the flower believed him too! The tragedy of the situation is in the fact that the hare is pretending, and the trustful flower is stretching itself out to help.
And behind all this sham hides the marriage. Defenseless men-flowers can frighten with their thunderbolts, but they never do any harm to people they love. But women, despite their love to flowers, are the real hares, theatrical and dark in their treachery. Another evidence of precision of our interpretation is the fact that women love with their ears.

Great interpretation! Being slightly perverted I first interpreted the picture a little differently but you are spot on. (Reply)

somehow today, i feel like the assessment of the meaning of the picture is spot-on -- but maybe i just know a lot of women that have a really freak dark side, i dunno (Reply)

To me the hare represents the downtrodden, the sick, starving, slave workers, and victims of war.
The flower represents humanity, striving to help it's fellow man. Although humanity has good intentions, it has little power in the grand scheme of things.
Then we have the lighting, representing the powers that be, the status quo who only care about money and power. Striking down all those that oppose them and those unfortunate enough to be in the way. (Reply)

Children's drawings are so innocent. When I look at these drawings, they just make me totally calm and happy. (Reply)
